Machine Set: 750 kW Auxiliary Gas Generator Set
Project Background: the drilling crew uses electric-driven drilling rigs and conventional diesel generator sets are equipped to supply main power for these drilling rigs. Now in response to the national policy of energy saving and emission reduction as well as in an effort to reduce drilling costs, the drilling crew intends to replace conventional diesel generator sets with gas power to supply auxiliary electricity for the crew.
Project Overview: the natural gas generator set of this project is used as auxiliary power generator for the 70D electric-driven drilling system. One 750 kW (400 V / 50 Hz) gas generator set is applied to renovate the auxiliary power supply of the current diesel generator sets.
Project Principle: the project works as follows: low-pressure natural gas (≥ 0.45MPa) flows into the gas generator set through the buffer tank. When the gas generator set operates normally, it can provide the drilling crew with 400 V / 50 Hz power supply.
Project Benefits Analysis: the drilling crew consumes about 100 tons of diesel from the beginning to the completion of drilling a well with regard to the auxiliary power supply (like household electricity), but by using AMICO 750 kW gas generator set, the crew only consumes about 150,000 Nm3 gas.
Diesel is 6,300 yuan/ton, and the spot price of natural gas in Xinjiang is 2.1 yuan/Nm3. After calculation, it is estimated that for each well, the drilling crew can save fuel costs of 315,000 yuan.
